Vertigo is a collaboration with the importer vom Boden: a blend of barrels from Max’s cellar and from neighboring Wintrich growers the Kilburgs have known forever, all from the village’s slate-rich slopes. It’s fermented with native yeast in stainless steel and finished feinherb, the German term for off-dry, so there’s just a touch of sweetness on the dry side of fruity.
