Cora Pinot Grigio 2024
Clean, crisp, and wonderfully easy to enjoy, this Italian white opens with pear, lemon zest, white peach, and a light floral note, all carried by a fresh, bright lift. On the palate, it is lively and straightforward in the best way, with orchard fruit, citrus, and a refreshing finish that makes it a natural choice for warm days, light fare, and easy sipping.

Key Details:

Producer: Cora — a value-driven Italian label made with estate-grown fruit from a winery partner in Abruzzo.

Region / Appellation: Colline Pescaresi IGT, Abruzzo, Italy

Varietal: 100% Pinot Grigio

Vintage: 2024

Style : Dry white wine. The fruit is gently pressed, fermented for about two weeks at cool temperatures in stainless steel, then aged for a few months in tank before bottling under screw cap to preserve freshness and brightness.

Why It’s Special: The fruit is estate-grown, including some older vines trained in pergola abruzzese, and the farming is described as certified sustainable, with no herbicides, no irrigation, reduced copper use, and winery electricity sourced from solar and wind power. It is also made as a vegan wine, which adds another thoughtful layer to a bottle that is already bright, unfussy, and easy to love.

Food Pairing: Great with grilled shrimp, lemony pasta, salads, picnics, or a plate of olives and chips that was only supposed to hold everyone over for twenty minutes. Its fresh citrusy profile also makes it an easy porch, patio, and “one more glass” kind of white.
